How It All Got Started

In 2012, a few moms and volunteers shared a heavy heart for childhood hunger.  After many conversations, prayers, research, and community support, Feed Our Future was formed in hopes of making a difference.

Mission

Feed hungry kids in Fresno, California.

Vision

Expand Feed Our Future program to reach multiple sites around Fresno County, feeding children that need it the most while providing an opportunity for the local community to join us in feeding hungry little bellies.

Organization History

A couple of Fresno mothers who have a heavy heart for childhood hunger were inspired to feed little bellies right here in Fresno.  After research, prayer, rallying community support, Feed Our Future was founded in March 2014.

Every Thursday, Feed Our Future is providing food bags filled with non-perishable, easy to prepare items to bridge the gap for local hungry children between lunch on Friday and breakfast on Monday.  In just a few short years Feed Our Future has expanded from serving 50 children a week to currently serving 250 and on track to add an additional 150 children in August 2016, serving a total of 400 hungry children every week.  Statistics show there is a vast need for Feed Our Future throughout Fresno County.

Since our organization was founded in March 2014, school administration attributes increased attendance, better test scores, improved reading skills and positive behavior to Feed Our Future.
